THINGS YOU MUST KNOW WHEN GO FISHING
Choose the right place
Go to places where there are fish. Choose a location where fish are gathered and you can sit outside and spend hours outdoors. Public lakes, rivers, and ponds are often ideal locations for you. Talk to fishermen at your local sporting goods store for more information on fishing locations.
Fish are often stocked in ponds in a local city park so people can fish. For those new to fishing, fishing is easier and faster, although this place is dirty and crowded. Never bunch and encroach on the position of other players.
Remote locations around the lake or the levees outside the town are prime locations. If you wander in the woods to find a private fishing spot, make sure you don’t invade someone’s private property or fish in an unauthorized place.
If you live by the sea, you can fish in the ocean. You need a separate license for ocean fishing and specialized equipment for offshore fish. The fishing techniques are largely the same.
Locations, as well as information about the fish that will be baited and the appropriate bait, will be listed on the local fishing news section of many newspapers. You can also check out fishing gear stores, boat landing sites and camping equipment stores in the area.
Look for deep waters at the mouth of creeks and large rivers, and pay attention to the newly formed embankments or ravines. Catfish often prefer these locations, but they will move to deeper waters as the weather warms up.
It is very difficult if you want to catch fish in areas where the fish are not living. You will have to plan to go to specific areas and waters where the fish live if you really have the ambition to catch more fish.
Find an intersection between deep water and shallow water
Most fish that qualify for fishing will spend most of the day in deep water and only feed in shallow water. However, they will not swim too much in shallow water, so you need to find a fast-food hunting area before launching them.
Look for reeds and wood-covered floors in lakes close to newly formed sites. Beetles often congregate in dike banks or small creeks, and they become a popular feeding ground for fish. The bottom of the shell is where catfish often frequents.
The appropriate fishing time
Most freshwater fish usually go out to eat at dusk, meaning they only go out to eat in the early morning and dusk. Therefore, sunrise and sunset are the most suitable fishing time.
If you are an early riser, get out of bed before sunrise to enjoy an enjoyable fishing day. If waking up at 4:30 is a horror, plan on fishing in the late afternoon.
