HOW TO CHOOSE THE BEST TIME TO FISHING (PART II)

Weather element
Note the change between hot and cold air episodes. Fish are cold-blooded, so the water temperature has a great influence on them. This means that their activity can change significantly before and after the weather turns hot and cold.
Pay attention to the winds
The wind pushes surface water off the coast with small baitfish to seduce the salmon family. So the windy day is a good time to fish.
If you fish near the shore on a windy day, rely on the wind direction. This will help you follow the flow of food and make it easier to attract fish. If fishing on a boat, choose an afternoon near the shore along with the wind.
Notice the clouds
Overcast days make fish stronger. They tend to swim away from safe water. Those were good days for fishing.
Rain also washes away many insects into the water as bait for fish. Heavy rains cloudy the water, making it difficult for the fish to catch food, breathe and navigate. Like you, the fish will not want to get out of shelter in that weather condition. The same is true because heavy rain makes fishing unsafe.
Other factors
Pay attention to the insects. The predatory activity of the fish depends directly on the insect’s activity. Smaller fish eat insects and big fish eat smaller fish. So many mosquitoes are ideal fishing conditions, but remember to apply lots of insect repellent.
Understand the behavior of fishes
Different fish species adapt to different water temperatures, time of day and food. If you are fishing a particular species, learn about them. If you want catfish fishing, it is impossible not to go to shallow water.
Go fishing when you have time
It is good to know when the fish appears but the truth is that most of us go fishing simply when we have time. You can enjoy the afternoon fishing with a little beer and friends even if there is no fish. Don’t be too rigid when trying to find the best time for fishing but forget about having fun together.
